Hello, My name is Mark Glowacki and I graduated from the Industrial Engineering program at the University of Pittsburgh with a concentration in Management in April 2020. An interesting fact that separates me from others is that during my time taking classes as well as post graduation, I have been working as a Bartender. This has dramatically improved my communication skills as well as to ensure customer satisfaction to the highest degree. After graduation, I was employed by PNC Bank in their Retail Bank Operations department from June 2020 until February 2023. My position was a Process Improvement Specilist Sr. and my area of focus was with the online disputes teams. My team relied heavily on Lean Six Sigma methodologies within their projects. In return, this strengthened my abilities and made me much more comfortable with that approach. The summer after I graduated high school, I worked as a laborer at Menasha Corp. This internship introduced me to the worker side of a factory to better understand their relationship with the Engineers and Management. I look forward to continuously learn new techniques and viewpoints throughout my career as an Industrial Engineer.
