From passion to professional, I pride myself to be highly skilled and knowledgeable in the field of music and audio production with more than 20 years of experience spanning across recording studios, “Live” concerts, television broadcasts and today's OTT streaming. Well versed in the music business, studio design, audio production equipment, content creation pipelines, resource management as well as vocational training and the tertiary education landscape. CAREER SUMMARYProfessional career began at Singapore’s largest recording studio, The Audioplex, working with the top regional and international producers, musicians and artists. Co-managed the studio business and produced a few local music albums. After which, founded a partnership company called “Resonance Audio” that specialises in niche audio solutions. Projects extended to surround production, film music mixes and broadcasting like MTV Asia, mixing extensively for their “live” musical performance programs. Consultancy provided from time to time includes developing music businesses, studio management and construction, product application and training for industry operators. On an education front, a trainer for Dolby Laboratories since 2007 and has conducted several surround production training to broadcasters and educational institutes in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and China. Also a senior lecturer at Singapore Polytechnic, developing courses in Music and Audio Technology. Managed the curriculum, studio facilities and industrial training programs. Mentored 3 students for a startup called “Soundfarm Production Studios” with an initial Spring Singapore grant of S$50,000 to a yearly revenue of S$200,000.At present a senior manager with Dolby, driving the adoption of Dolby technologies with content creators by developing a robust content production ecosystem in SEA/ANZ with the ultimate aim of delivering spectacular consumer experiences.
