As operations director at GLS Coatings, a lot of my knowledge & experience comes from my previous work at Greener Living Solutions. Working with loft & cavity wall insulation, gave me the basic skills needed to move on & work with roofing & basement waterproofing. While fiberglass insulation & polyurea coating are different substances, the same principles apply to the application & installation of both. Greener Living Solutions were a British Board of Agreement approved cavity wall insulation installation team. GLS Coatings were able to take many lessons from Greener Living Solutions. Previously I was a surveyor for Leason Homes, which dealt in property development. I was part of the insulation division. This work helped with my projects at both Greener Living Solutions & GLS Coatings.As part of the insulation division it was my job to survey potential properties, specifically those with a need for new insulation or fittings. Other teams that I was part of dealt with surveying any roofing or basement waterproofing needs. Our operations director at Leason Homes didn’t have access to polyurea coating, instead we would use other basic industrial coatings.
