The Training Support Manager will be responsible for managing the development, implementation and where appropriate and necessary, the delivery, of tailored training and mentoring programs that will assist the Labour Sending Units (LSU’s) of participating sending countries, and other in-country stakeholders, to ensure each Pacific country and Timor-Leste have effective engagement in PLMSP. Engaging with LSU Trainers, and all relevant external and/or in-country providers (e.g., TVET, APTC), the Training Support Manager will build and cultivate positive partnering relationships and foster a continuous improvement approach to all relevant training programs. The Training Support Manager will provide guidance and assistance to Sending Country Governments and PLMSP Labour Mobility Engagement Manager’s (EM’s), Program Managers (PM’s) and Labour Mobility Coordinators (LMC’s) on the development needs of the respective LSU Pre-Departure Briefing (PDB) Trainers and other identified staff as requested. They will provide advice to EM’s, PM’s, LM on training opportunities as identified through the review of the Sending Country’s LSU Capacity Assessment, ensuring the outcomes reflect an increase in capacity and performance of LSUs.

The Program Manager (PM) will work in partnership with the LSU and will be responsible for implementing several programmatic initiatives in-line with LEEP Labour Mobility priorities, providing capacity development and mentoring, and assist with instilling a team culture within the LSU. The PM will be working closely with the LSU to support workers and families through the Predeparture briefings and will engage with communities as part of the recruitment process. Whilst the PM will report directly to the PLF Engagement Manager, the PM will be required to provide regular updates/reports to LEEP Senior Management on operational activities.
