ArcHealth was formed in 1996. Its purpose is to provide a quality health planning practice which is soundly based on some 30 years of extensive experience within health care professions and Glynis Meredith-Windle’s pioneering work on new healthcare concepts such as the Patient Focused and Planetree paradigms. In 2002 we welcomed architect Carole Crane as a partner in ArcHealth. Extending the range of high quality services that the practice can provide. As well as continuing to provide consulting services to traditional capital schemes a more recent focus has been on several PFI schemes. An important facet to our commitment to excellence in healthcare is our input to health and nurse planning issues at Department of Health working on HBN's, SoA's and ADB. In 2009 ArcHealth carried out a comprehensive review of all this data and made recommnedations for the 21st Century

Glynis joined Llewelyn-Davis Weeks directly from the National Health Service to advise on clinical health issues in relation to planning. This included a secondment to the Department of Health and was subcontracted to Booz-Allen Hamilton to evaluate and deploy the “Patient Focussed” concept and design for the UK market. Glynis was promoted to Associate Director in 1993.

Glynis became the UK's youngest Nursing Officer in charge of acute medical areas including oncology, cardiology and diabetology. She was actively involved with the School of Nursing and in teaching and inspiring students.
