I earned my certificate in Cybersecurity from DigitalCrafts, where I learned how to protect data from cyberthreats, monitor network traffic, and evaluate risks in relation to GRC frameworks. I also have a certification in Travel and Hospitality from Travel Agent Campus, where I gained knowledge and skills in the travel industry.I worked as an intern for seven months, providing data security, network monitoring and participating in labs for Interon, LLC. Having the opportunity to practice in simulated labs has allowed me to gain valuable experience in cybersecurity as a whole. While gaining this experience, I've also worked as a concierge for a property management company, where I performed light digital forensics, nightly audits, and provided customer service until being promoted to director of customer service. Additionally, I have also been a luxury travel consultant for over 13 years, working with businesses and clients to create and implement travel programs and itineraries.My true passion is with Governance, Risk, and Compliance and its importance in today's world. I've dedicated myself to learning as much as possible by taking additional courses and becoming more familiar with securing networks. I stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the field by utilizing Gerald Auger's weekly updates, LinkedIn Learning, and a few publications.
