Initially established legal framework and corporate structure for this educational establishment. Widely regarded as the finest and most respected private art school in the Los Angeles area, Valley Art Institute was most renowned for the college preparatory program for high school students. As its director I was responsible for the development of all academic programs and all administrative, operational and organizational projects. In addition to program and project development I was responsible for the supervision of proper maintenance and accuracy of academic records, maintaining effective working relationships with clerical, teaching and support staff, coordinating multiple projects and meeting critical deadlines, exercising sound judgment within the institute's established guidelines. Within this framework, the organization achieved and maintained a ninety-five percent successful college admissions rate throughout the entire period of my tenure. In addition to the art school, I developed a non-profit scholarship foundation to assist those students with with their art college tuition expenses. This non-profit arm was largely financed by the acquisition of private donations, fundraising events and local corporate sponsorship.
