Receive and prepare samples for laboratory analyses. Retrieves and prepare add-on's and rechecks. Accurately process Avian/Exotic, manifest, problems at a rate of 40 accessions per hour. Responsible for processing the majority of samples that comes into the department at a 100% productivity levels, 82 accessions an hour. Average about 105% production with little to no errors. Verify samples are in correct locations. Assists Leads/Supervisors with training. May be required to assist other lab personnel with specimen storage. Ensure Turn Around Times (TAT's) are met. Participates in improving lab efficiency, quality, cooperation. Participate enterprise initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned. Reliable and dependable attendance is an essential function of the position.

Assist fellow employees with any questions on processing or tasks. Data entry manual forms into computer databases in order for results of testing to be sent back to clinics.
