I’m a board member, senior technology executive, and certified SAP consultant with deep expertise in technical solutions management and advisory for back-end enterprise systems and processes. I bring a comprehensive background in driving large-scale ERP implementations (testing, deployment, and change management) across a broad range of industries, including oil and gas, healthcare, heavy equipment, aerospace and defense, technology, banking, financial services, consumer goods, and beauty. Frequently called upon by boards, executive leaders, and stakeholders to solve problems at the tactical and strategic levels, I serve as an architect and a bridge for organizations to mitigate risk, cut costs, and optimize efficiencies. Additionally, I possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit and passion for creating empowered company cultures that leverage a value-driven framework and excel in high-growth technology environments and evolving digital landscapes.I began my career as a software developer, holding subsequent roles in engineering and technology as a business analyst, project lead, technical architect, and IT director. In 1997, I founded deBCor Engineering to build and integrate mobile and payment systems with SAP R3 and S4 that create a seamless user experience and deliver cost-effective solutions. Over the past 25+ years, I’ve grown deBCor into a leading global solution architecture company which delivers a white-glove service to client companies at all stages and levels of restructuring. As the CEO and Chief Architect, I oversee all aspects of the deBCor brand, operations, finance, contracts, and sales, including leading a team of 60 platinum-level consultants who are spread across our offices in the US, India, Chile, and Costa Rica. Through my deep understanding of how software interacts, deBCor delivers an elegant and simple approach toward uncovering pitfalls and guaranteeing sound solutions within every level of an organization, including offshore capabilities. In addition to my technology leadership, I’ve served in multiple board leadership and advisory roles for a variety of tech-enabled companies, such as RaVina Labs, STS Capital Partners, WebDoctors.com, and BugZero. I’ve written numerous books (13+) on the technical aspects of SAP, and I’m a vetted tools and technology instructor for SAP America. I’m also a proud graduate of Stanford University’s GSB LEAD program, a year-long program on key business fundamentals related to finance, strategy, critical thinking, and the innovation process.I can be reached at: gareth@debcor.com
