I lead the infrastructure and product development of Cisco AI, a cloud-based machine learning platform that provides visibility into and learns from enterprise networks across the world, from inception on a whiteboard up to the completion of early field trials. I was in charge of the machine learning and software development group for Stealthwatch Learning Network (SLN), Cisco's next-generation cyber security platform, now known as Cisco Secure Network Analytics. This product turns every router and switch into a security agent capable of analyzing the behavior of every host and device on the network and triggering alerts in case of anomalies. During this project, I held a highly technical, multi-faceted role:- Leader and manager of a world-class team of data scientists, software and system engineers.- Architect and lead developer of SLN's underlying real-time hyper-distributed learning platform (processing up to 100 billion events a day across 5000 routers).- Co-designer and co-inventor of the underlying technology based on distributed intelligence, machine learning, and edge computing (60+ patents).🚀 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬: Stealthwatch Learning Network (SLN), now part of Cisco Secure Network Analytics.🎯 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬: anomaly detection, classification, cybersecurity💡 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: 60+ patents on distributed intelligence, machine learning, and edge computing.
