Started at Gosiger the summer of 2019 at the headquarters in Dayton, Ohio. Worked closely with the engineering and sales team assisting and leading many projects important to day to day operations at Gosiger. During the 2 co-op terms and 3 semesters of part time work, tasks and projects include:- Created time studies to evaluate project cycle times and assist in determining the amount of machines needed- Developed and implemented a sales dashboard with full automation and advanced syntax to easily evaluate monthly goals and notify PM, engineers, etc. of deadlines. Used in the owners and divisional meetings.- Created/designed solid models and 3D printed them to speed up the prototyping phase of large scale projects.- Cold called clients to set up meetings and update our CRM to further develop relationships and find new prospects

Worked in a manufacturing enviroment that had a good mixture of theoretical and applied engineering. I was able to create engineering processes which assisted in large scale projects. Starting the summer directly after Freshman year, I learned a lot from the industry early into my college career. I was able to adapt to a manufacturing envirmoent with very little knowledge of the industry. I became proficient in autoCAD, Solidworks, CNC applications, troubleshooting, excel, leadership, and teamwork. RL Industries creates complex composite, FRP, and dual laminate equiptment for chemical processing, semiconductor, pollution control, and defense industries.
