Hello! I’m currently enjoying my first full time professional experience as an Azure Big Data Support Engineer at Microsoft. Before joining the company, I completed my Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering. Both these experiences, together with my Masters Degree Dissertation internship where I worked with Artificial Intelligence, confirmed to me that I’m a full time nerd when it comes to technology. With these great experiences, I have learned that I really enjoy deeply learning technical subjects, and that I’m happiest when I’m working with the most recent technologies, so that is where I want to be throughout my career. I also have a big passion for Gaming and the industry, which I continue to follow very intently.As a Support Engineer, I have the opportunity to work every day solving complex issues regarding the technology and assisting our customers with their data environments and pipelines in Azure, while providing them the best possible customer experience. It is very interesting to see all the applications and impact Cloud Services such as Azure are bringing to the day to day of businesses. In my free time, I still continue my learning journey. Different languages have always been a part of my life, and so far I have ventured into learning German and Spanish, in addition to English and Portuguese. My love for technology and Gaming is also a great part of my learning, and I maintain and upgrade my personal Gaming Desktop and I’m currently learning C++ and Unreal Engine to start venturing into building my own games.
