And with transparent OKRs/KPIs or whatever metrics are foundational to a business, aligning stakeholders and product teams on the roadmap doesn’t become a problem. Building roadmaps with a mix of improving the existing with new experiences or tools helps keep customers engaged and happy with the product. Also, keeping digital experiences simple yet functional allows the 80% to accomplish their tasks successfully and quickly while also providing a path for the more complex 20% to achieve their goals. This helps the business run more efficiently and keeps the customers satisfied and engaged. With collaborative, cross-functional teams who are engaged with their work, value is consistently delivered efficiently and regularly for the customer and business alike.
