Appryse is a web and smartphone app developed in Silicon Valley. Through close work with our athletic directors, we help streamline season sign-ups and assist with their risk management. Student safety and privacy is our #1 priority. Athletic departments need to collect numerous forms each season. All information is entered online by the parents, including medical history, doctor physicals, and electronically signed legal releases, eliminating the need for paper. Instead of preparing spreadsheets to keep track of athletes that have turned in the proper forms for tryouts, Appryse automatically generates the tryout eligibility lists, which are updated in real-time based on information submitted by the parents online. Coaches will see who is missing forms, and who is ready to play. Athletic trainer visits are logged from a smartphone. They document the date and nature of the visit and any treatment applied. Once entered, coaches and parents receive an instant email with a report containing details of the visit. This keeps everyone in the loop and tracks the athlete's recovery. In the event of an injury, instead of looking for an athlete's medical information in binders, coaches click on the athlete’s profile on their smartphone. When the coach clicks "Start Medical Incident," the athlete’s medical information is displayed to show the EMTs, as well as reach the parents by phone, via text message, and email them a map with directions to the hospital. Coaches will also be able to send a fax of the athlete's medical information to the emergency room, all from their smartphone. Appryse was designed with risk management and student privacy as our absolute #1 priority. Athletic directors set the roles for staff to control what coaches can see. All student medical information is locked until the event of an injury, eliminating breaches of privacy and strengthening your risk management.
