I'm working to manufacture building products that make contractor's lives easier, homeowner's lives better, all the while reducing our environmental impact.* Plastec is an innovative Australian company producing a range of solutions for the plumbing industry. Tractile is building the next generation of roofing and cladding materials: strong, lightweight, beautiful and with embedded solar electric and hot water! While at Nano-Nouvelle, we built a technology platform to improve the energy density of existing Li-ion batteries. Our Sunshine Coast team developed a network with many of the best companies in the battery space.I have worked in a variety of corporate cultures and countries based on my engineering skills and the two things that draw everything together are leadership and learning. I enjoy leading small teams where innovation and procedure are valued equally and where there is a strong sense of integrity. I have built and enjoy building relationships that have led to corporate acquisitions, partnerships and successful new product ranges.Starting with my PhD on 3D printing in the metal casting industry, through my work in the plumbing industry and in the startup sector, I maintain a passion for technology and how we can put it to practical use. My education in materials science ties together the diverse manufacturing, building and water industries I have worked in and forms a basis for my strong belief in sustainable business.
