These projects ranged in scope from new software/product deliveries, network extensions to multi-country, multi-site green-field replacement deployments requiring complex testing and integration with existing infrastructure, including all the project level governance; financial and cost analysis; risk analysis and management and senior stakeholder management and reporting that would be expected of such high value implementations. Delivering these projects required multi-disciplinary team collaboration and management with software engineering, product, sales, bid management and project delivery teams. The projects involved (not limited to) the deployment of the following technologies: IP, Networking, VoIP, 5G Core, TDM, Virtualisation, Data Centre, Software applications. I also have a detailed understanding of internal engineering costs for such projects and have been closely involved in supporting RFP responses and bids for customer sales teams. On top of my project management experience, I have over 15 years experience working in telecommunications operator environments, (IP, VoIP, SDH/DWDM, TDM, Data Centre, Switching, Networking etc), both in management and engineering capacities. Including leading 24/7 support engineering teams in critical network environments.
