Utilizing my knowledge of engineering principles and design software, I participated in the prototyping and testing phases of projects, which allowed me to see the products I helped create come to life. In just the first few days, I was faced with a challenging project that had a short turnaround time and presented several roadblocks. I was able to create a successful product, get it shipped in just six weeks, and then worked on additional value added projects after that.Additionally, I was able to work with a talented team of engineers, which allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the design process and the importance of collaboration in product development. This internship was an incredible learning experience and provided me with a great foundation. I am grateful for the opportunity I had to work at Garmin and for the skills and knowledge that I acquired during my time there.At the end of the internship, I competed alongside all 125 interns and won first place for my contributions that summer. -
