As a senior engineer- estimation at L&T Valves, a global leader in valve manufacturing, I am responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for various projects and tenders. I work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and sales, to ensure that the technical and commercial aspects of the proposals are aligned with the customer requirements and the company standards.Before joining L&T Valves in August 2023, I spent over five years as a purchase engineer at Best Forgings India Private Limited, a leading forging company. There, I integrated the responsibilities of sourcing, procurement, vendor development, cost saving, materials management, logistics, and productivity improvements. I successfully planned and implemented new technology and process improvement, took corrective and preventive actions for customer complaints, and turned loss-making products into profitability. I also demonstrated my skills in pricing negotiations, supplier identification, and lean six sigma, and obtained SAP MM certification to enhance my knowledge and efficiency.I graduated with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Sasurie College of Engineering, Tirupur, in 2017, where I gained a solid foundation in the principles and applications of engineering. I am passionate about learning new skills and technologies, and I aspire to grow as a supply chain management leader and contribute to the success and innovation of the organization.
