I led a team of senior technology architects responsible for identification and evaluation of new technologies and advancements to support radical as well as incremental product innovation.• Performed design authority duties with responsibility for off-mainframe technologies within the Credit Services division, prescribing technology alignment with business and global technology strategy ensuring cost efficiencies across the portfolio.• Introduced and promoted new collaboration techniques using SharePoint and created knowledge management portals enabling geographically remote teams to work collaboratively on projects.

In my principal role of Chief Architect and TDA I was responsible for the development and management of product technical strategy across the Information Solutions division within the UK.• I managed multidisciplinary teams of architects, developers, testers, support staff and external consultants in performing the R&D function for Experian Information Solutions. • Responsible for the evaluation, selection and implementation of COTS application products and development tools in the support of Experian’s business goals in the B2B and direct to consumer markets.• Chief Architect of Experian's Customer Event Management System (CEMS), a Microsoft .Net based SOA/BPM platform capable of delivery as Web Services or SAAS. • Represented Experian’s technical and architectural capabilities at briefings with major client’s senior business and technical leaders as part of the customer bid process.

As principal architect and technical consultant within the Information Solutions division I was responsible for all aspects of new technology development and interpretation of business requirements into technical solutions.• Designed and led the development of Experian's e-commerce solution (e-series) using Java and UNIX technologies, supporting millions of e-commerce transactions per day. • Designed and led the development of Experian’s first browser based products (ETHICS) using Microsoft technologies together with an innovative set of design tools to enable rapid prototyping and delivery of solutions.• Designed and led the development and implementation of Experian's first n-tier client server GUI based products using Visual Basic and other Microsoft technologies.• Designed a plug-and-play component based mainframe architecture to support Experian’s off-mainframe deployment strategy which significantly reduced development time of customised product deliveries.
