About Goddey Atitsogbui

A blue economy enthusiast, interested in the science-policy interface for the sustainable exploitation, management, and development of the environment and natural resources- especially the blue resources ( freshwater, ocean, fisheries & aquaculture development). Also, for the nexus of water-food systems & the environment.A passion that stems from growing up in a small coastal & agricultural village in Ghana & depending on these resources for my livelihood support. I bring a masterโ€™s degree, practical fishing & farming experience, and 2-3 years of professional experience. I have gained & delivered capacity in research, projects, administrative, capacity building, international development, outreach & communications support- contributing to food & water security, & doing so sustainably, ensuring health environments & future on a livable planet. My experience spans across the UN, Aquaculture Stewardship Council, Environmental Policy Group, ECOP Program, Department of Fisheries & Watershed among others, both remotely & in-person in Ghana, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. I am always enthusiastic & open to new collaborations, challenges & opportunities for the good of us, the environment, and the future!!!

The reports were also used to update the Aquaculture Management database of the countries.โ€ข Assisted with the organization of the 10th & 11th Technical Advisory Board meetings. Co-facilitated a presentation on the 10th (to get the stakeholders abreast of new developments) & helped brainstormed the project upscale plan on the 11th.
