As an associate, i am involved in performing the following tasks> Business Registration and Licensing: I am involved in registering and licensing both local and foreign companies in Tanzania. This includes registering businesses using the BRELA system, TIN applications, and license applications through the BRELA License portal, TAUSI License portal, and Tanzanite portal.> Trademark Registration: I am involved in registering various trademarks from the filing stage through to obtaining the certificate of registration.> Business Legal Compliance: This includes tasks such as filing annual returns, registering charges, discharging charges, and other compliance requirements.> Drafting and Reviewing Contracts: I draft and review various types of contracts, including contracts for the sale of goods, share sale agreements, land transfer contracts, lease agreements, memorandums of understanding (MoUs), mortgages, and more.> Registration of Documents and Mortgages: I handle the registration of various documents with the Registrar of Documents and the Registrar of Titles.

As the freelancer providing legal services, I have served a number of clients in doing the following.1. Conducting official search to the registrar of companies BRELA and share the search report to the clients.2. Conduct legal research and market research on various intellectual property matters.3. Providing Legal opinion on incorppration of companies in Tanzania.4. Enforcement of trademark infringements.5. Contract drafting and review.
