I was responsible for responding to Payment Protection (PPI) and Plevin queries as well as dealing with Subject Access Requests (SARs) from both customers and third party companies. I was also responsible for dealing with PEPs, Sanctions, and RCAs and ensuring I correctly identify customers that fall into that category from our customer database. I also had to ensure that I communicate with customers, centres (dealerships), complaints management centres and the Financial Ombudsman when necessary.Key responsibilities• Manage the PPI queries and adapting to the new Plevin ruling in line with the FCA guidelines.• Complete full investigations into customers and complaints management centre PPI enquiries.• Complete SARs requested by either the customer or third party company within a set time frame.• Ensure that customers’ questions and problems are resolved properly and quickly and referred to the relevant parties involved.• Ensure effective communication between dealerships and centres in order to resolve problems.• Screening new customers for potential PEPs, RCAs or sanctions and ensuring that reports were kept updated.
