About Godwin Cassar
After two years in private practice spent 35 years in the public service - 12 years in public sector housing development and after a short spell of 21/2 years in roads development; between 1987-1992 has been the focus of all initiatives in the establishment of an effective, up to date and comprehensive land use planning system in Malta, including the development of a legislative, institutional and policy base incorporating a “state of the art” national mapping function.. Appointed Director of Planning - ‘Chief Executive’ Planning Authority in November 1992 and Director General Malta & Environment Planning Authority in December 2002. For two years acted as Director of Environment Protection and for about a year was also acting Director of Corporate Services.
