I Was involved in the day to day running of the road construction site, ranging from supervision to organisation of works and acting in the capacity of site engineer and project manager in the absence of the two personnel I was directly assisting. My responsibilities were as follows but not limited to the following:• Responsible for interpreting and instructing section heads (foremen) on task to be executed as necessary• Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations• Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time• Scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are according to specifications• Engineering design using Computer Aided Design Software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Excel• Processing of Field data, and preparation of Bills of Engineering Measurements (BEME) for engineering works and measurements• Responsible for daily reports on workers, equipments and other reports as necessitated• Responsible for measuring works as executed by sub-contractors and any other measurements as required
