16+ Years of Experience spanning over Teaching, Outreach, Project Management, Industry-Academia, STI Ecosystem Mapoing and Strengthening.Currently, working as Scientist at Punjab State Council for Science & Technology, Department of Science, Technology & Environment, Govt. of Punjab.I am involved in study of Science, Technology and Innovation Ecosystem of the State and the Country, development of frameworks and indicators for mapping & strengthening Ecosystem, developing industry-academia linkages, facilitate tech-transfer, scout grassroots innovations, networking with institutions and development departments.Under translational research segment, I am involved in promoting technical textiles industry in Punjab, explore new technologies for dairy and agriculture sector.Earlier for 5 years, I worked as Operations Manager at Society for Promotion of Science & Technology in India (SPSTI), a Non-Profit Organization (www.spsti.org) and got engaged in several science outreach projects. We developed a unique model of Mobile Science Laboratory that is currently operating in schools of Haryana since 2016. Other projects included organizing Summer Schools in Science, Robotics & 3D Priniting Workshops, Science Stage Shows, Sky-Watch Programs, Organizing Popular Science Talks, Quizzes, Exhibitions, etc.I have also worked on a Project - Restructuring of Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of Haryana.Prior to above, I worked as Assistant Professor for about 9 years in Institutions under Kurukshetra University and taught several subjects of Electronics & Communication Engineering to students of UG & PG. I was also involved in AICTE, NAAC & ISO documentation, setting-up laboratories as per engineering curriculum, training & placement of students, and other activities in engineering institutions.As a part-time Entrepreneur, I operated a training institute in Kurukshetra to provide training opportunities for students in electronics, electrical, mechanical and computer engineering courses at Kurukshetra in 2013.Later in 2019, I founded FindScope Innovations Pvt. Ltd. to provide training in robotics, 3D printing, drones and other emerging technologies to school students.
