I worked with Alfie at the MIT Global Founders' Skills Accelerator, MIT's premier accelerator program over the summer. Alfie is working on designing alternative ways, including income sharing agreements (or ISAs) to finance education. Among other things, I explored alternatives to raise capital and structure the product to meet the needs and demands of institutional investors.

I was part of investment grade Debt Capital markets, covering US Consumer Products and Retail companies as well as not-for-profit Healthcare and Higher Education clients. I was responsible for analyzing funding requirements, debt capacity & capital structure of corporates. As part of my duties, I conducted in-depth new issue analysis and macroeconomic market review. I also prepared capital markets teach-ins for clients as well as credit rating updates.Furthermore, I liaised with Rates, FX, Liability Management, Pensions, Ratings advisory, Syndicate and Trading desks on an ongoing basis to develop, analyze and deliver opportunities and solutions to more than 25 Fortune 500 clients across Tobacco, HPC, Food, Beverage, Apparel and Retailers sub-sectors.In addition to this, I co-managed origination, execution & post-trade analysis of more than 25 bond deals across USD, EUR and GBP with notional amount in excess of $40 billion (equivalent).

I worked on projects for small-cap and mid-cap European clients in the Global Transfer Pricing division. One of my contributions was performing a Customer Retention Analysis for a specialty paper manufacturer to minimize tax liability for a related party transaction under the arm's length principle.I developed and implemented statistical tools like Mezzanine Financing, DCF and Tracking Loan Calculator for the Global Transfer Pricing Services team. These tools were used in marketing services across financial functions.Based on my performance, I was offered and promoted for another internship stint at Munich office.

I was part of the Foreign Exchange department at the central bank's New Delhi office. As part of my project, I analyzed the evolution of Foreign Exchange Markets and laid out a brief outline for short-term future based on current trends. I also outlined suggestions for road map to Full Capital Account Convertibility for India going forward.
