I have been coaching professionals, athletes and kids eager to put in work towards their dreams since 2011.After completing my a Masters in Applied Economics in 2012 and a Post Graduate in Sports Management I immediately decided to postpone a career as a manager to start an independent business in the sports industry 'Elite Athletes' together with a close friend. Since the day of the leap, I have contributed to create a wave of innovation in youth basketball camps, opened a performance gym to then morph it into the first ever “movement facility” in the Benelux, grew a basketball Academy that rethinks how clubs are done and invented the role of “Play-Perform” Coach. Real study seemed to have started after graduating: from researching the Stoic philosophers, to visiting 2-week Buddhist meditation retreats, learning privately from Taoist and Sufi teachers, training 4-6 hours per day for 2 years on “movement culture” protocols, try opera singing, sweating hundreds of hours with dancers and artists, getting treatment and training in somatic therapies, join lucid dreaming and dream analysis trainings, etc.Throughout my personal quest I have been coaching individuals in overcoming mental habits, physical obstacles and behavioural inheritance that limit their freedom by using the myriad of tools that I'm grateful to have received by over a decade of autodidactic education.I have taught individuals from 6 years old until 73, kids to professional athletes, managers, yogis, people who are feeling a bit stuck and people who are on a roll.Further I've been invited to teach in over 15 countries, taught at organisations such as NBA Basketball Without Borders, business consulting firms, insurance companies, human resources think tanks, physical educational programs, yoga schools, hackathons and more.As a passion project I've been organising “cleaning practice” Reheat weekends as an experiment since 2015.I'm a recognised instructor of Fighting Monkey Practice receiving over 7 years of education by its founders Jozef Frucek and Linda Kapetanea, a somatic practice Vegetative Training practitioner - and has been trained in ‘movement culture’ methods and traditional training methodologies (with teachers such as Kit Laughlin, Ido Portal, Tom Weksler, Serge Augier, Nir Adin, and more).One of my main questions that drives my work is:What is it,In you,that wants to move?+32 474 244 941 / oliviergoetgeluck@gmail.com
