Since 1977, JEI Corporation has become one of the best education companies in South Korea. It consists of diverse business departments such as education, distribution, university and TV broadcasting stations. JEI has two TV channels: JEI TV focusing on kids education, JEI ENGLISH TV for English linguistic education. Both channels are the first-place channels in their area (kids and language) in South Korea. ○ Manager of programming, acquisition and marketing (November 2013~June 2017) - Lead the integrated strategies of JEI English TV channel, an educational channel in Korea - Set effective marketing plans for various programs, mainly new launched programs. - Managed JEI English TV’s SNS channels with creating various content (Facebook, Instagram and YouTube) - Acquisition of contents with Korean and international media companies as a main distributor. - Directed the development of the official website of a TV channel by working with web engineers and designers. - As a project manager, created the initial idea of TOKIS, English educational multi-platform content and led the entire project from pre-production to broadcasting in TV and digital media channels. - Launched new Podcast channel named JEI Storyhouse with same-named program to Apple Podcast and Android. And sold it with a format of an audiobook to Naver, the No.1 portal website in South Korea. ○ Production Producer (December 2011~October 2013) - Produced TV programs in JEI TV and JEI English TV, from dramatized programs for kids to lecture programs for adult. - Directed dubbing Japanese/English animations to Korean and casted Korean voice actors.
