Technical authority for Basrah Gas Company construction department , overseeing all lifting activities taking place on several sites in the Basrah oil field.Daily travel within several sites daily ensuring all lifting operations are being carried out as per Shell (BGC) procedures. Review and sign off of all Lifting Plans for the sites , carrying out pre-mobilisation inspections on cranes , mewp, drill rigs etc. to be utilised on sites. Organisation of sites for delivery and set up lifting operations for new compressor station sites . Organise and prepare sites for major shutdowns.

Deep Water entity ensuring all lifting practices and procedures are adhered to onshore / offshore. Review all critical lift plans , assist construction with project work. Audit all installations and logistics . Train personnel to acceptable standards. Review and adjust company policies and procedures in line with legal regulations. Award contracts for the supply of services through the tendering system, on site visits to contractors to ensure contractors are up to date with training and certification etc.

HSE Technical authority for occidental , Utilised within the HSE department reporting to the HSE manger regarding my area of responsibility , this was the warehouse, Yard and port areas dealing with all safety aspects in these areas such as toolbox talks , training audits, regular safety meeting, I addition to this, I was called upon to act as the lifting authority ensuring all lifting practices and procedures are adhered to onshore / offshore. Review all critical lift plans , assist construction with project work. Audit all installations and logistics . Train personnel to acceptable standards. Review and adjust company policies and procedures in line with legal regulations. Award contracts for the supply of services through the tendering system, on site visits to contractors to ensure contractors are up to date with training and certification etc.

CPLO for OML58 project , this was a major upgrade project on a live plant in two separate areas near each other also the new pipeline.Ensure that the two main contractors were following the company rules and that the lifting operations were being carried out under the PTW system and lifting plans were submitted for review to undertake lifting operations . Carrying out pre mobilisation inspections on contractors cranes etc , before being allowed onsite . Attend all major meetings with contractors during construction phase.

Daily running of the crane maintenance department at onshore plant , directing maintenance crews to onshore and offshore locations to carry out routine and breakdown maintenance as required.

Support engineer for west Africa , ensuring that clients contracts were driven satisfactory . Converse with major oil and gas operators, attending in country meetings with clients , carrying out audits with offshore visits to sparrows personnel and installation management.Cary out monthly budget reports ensuring all invoices are correct . Also supervise an office department.
