With over five years of work experience in the fields of geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing, I am a passionate and skilled expert who applies my knowledge and abilities to promote and support viticulture and oenology in Armenia. As a GIS and Remote Sensing Expert at the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia (VWFA), I contribute to the development and implementation of the Vineyard Registry that aims to enhance the quality and sustainability of the Armenian wine industry. I use Google Earth Engine, ArcGIS, QGIS, and other tools to create and analyze maps, satellite images, and spatial data that inform and guide the decision-making and planning processes of the foundation and its partners. I also collaborate with local and international experts, researchers, and organizations to share and exchange best practices, data, and insights on the applications and benefits of GIS and remote sensing for viticulture and oenology. In addition, I am an Adjunct Lecturer at the American University of Armenia, where I deliver courses on GIS and remote sensing for students and professionals who are interested in learning and advancing their skills in this domain. My mission is to use my GIS and remote sensing expertise and skills to support and enhance the environmental, social, and economic well-being of communities. I am always eager to learn new things, explore new opportunities, and collaborate with others who share my vision and values.
