I am an MA Applied Linguistics (TESOL) student who is fascinated with language and how we use it to tell our stories.I strive to effect positive social change by offering different perspectives through the lens of language, and by empowering English language speakers in expressing themselves kindly and authentically. My background consists of experiences in the fine arts, journalism, media, and localisation in both Singapore and the UK, which have contributed to my personal areas of interest in cross-cultural communication, gender equity, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).In my free time I can either be found reading, immersed in a video game, dabbling in eclectically creative pursuits, or drinking what might possibly be my billionth cup of tea for the day.
