Main responsibilities are controlling the manufacturing process, transportation and importation of the raw materials, planning the assembly, manufacturing, testing, IT management and managing the After Sales Service. Reporting directly to Director of Manufacturing in UK. Achievements Experienced 7 Factory inspections performed by Turk Telekom, and passed them all. Achieved a proper manufacturing quality to get a %25 bonus order from Turk Telekom. Managed the Contract Electronics Manufacturing process and the transition, manufacturing and delivery periods. Made the Turkish CEM to manufacture Surface Mount parts of our product which has being done in Telspec UK before. Successfully transferred the manufacturing know-how from UK to Turkey. Transferred the sourcing of some imported components to local vendors. (i.e. connectors, carton boxes, labels, metal parts etc). Cost reduction projects. Coordinated the closure of the facility according to the HQ's strategic decision.

MANISA Responsibilities:As one of the four Manufacturing Managers in Vestel, My main responsibilities are management of production facilities of PCs and Color Monitors, controlling the material levels, management and training of the employees. Acting as a product manager to solve the customer problems regarding the Color Monitor.AchievementsIncreased the capacity from 6K to a 70K monthly.Established a 17000 m2 monitor plant (4 assy lines with 250 DL and 8 IDLs) and managed it. It was a total of 5 mil$ investment project and completed in 6 months. Initiated the product engineering, repair center, industrial engineering, planning and quality assurance and make them smoothly operate.Proposed, managed and completed the 1 million USD project of Automation of the assembly lines. With this automation I've increased the efficiency around 200%.Worked together with SAP group and successfully switched into SAP system. Also successfully managed the transition from Taiwan based monitor design to new Vestel design 15" and 17" monitors. Visited USA, Scotland and Taiwan for sourcing of new monitor production equipments and lines.
