About Gokul Gopinath, Ph.D.

I am a passionate and skilled scientist with over 13 years of experience in deploying advanced cellular and molecular analytical methods with distinct contributions across several fields including oncology, cell therapy, stem cells, biomarkers, and regenerative medicine. My mission is to unravel the molecular mechanisms and signaling pathways that go haywire in cells, and to apply this knowledge in developing novel therapeutic strategies for curing various diseases and disorders.My core competencies include designing and performing advanced cellular and molecular biology assays, primary cell/stem cell manipulation, gene expression modulation strategies, vector engineering and optimization, molecular cloning, epigenetic assays, and next generation sequencing based technologies. I have also demonstrated expertise in cell signaling pathway dissection and modulation, using small molecules, RNAi, advanced imaging, and other methods. Additionally, I have successfully managed and mentored research teams, collaborated with multidisciplinary partners, and published multiple papers in high-impact journals.
