• Purchasing a wide range of Mechanical and Electrical commodities such as Pumps, spring, brake pad, Resistors, IC’s etc., from leading manufacturers and understanding the technical and functional parameters of the product to meet the global trade compliance.• Handling of ECO changes based on demand to fulfill customer requirements.• Track the status on all open purchase orders by communicating purchase order action report to vendors on a weekly basis.• Making sure the buyer due diligences for Shortage Management which include, negotiating with supplier of partial qty, contacting with another Approved AML list suppliers, Broker Quote for spot buy are carried out to resolve any material shortage situation.• Coordinating with shipping team & forwarders to monitor on time delivery for the shipments and proper INCOTERMS are followed.• Coordinating with warehouse team to resolve any receiving challenges.• Working with the material planners to clear the excess materials in production plant, as well as the materials in hand of vendor that has the highest value for efficient Inventory Management.• Coordinating with Accounts Payable Team to resolve supplier invoicing issues to clear the payment.• Sourcing, Vendor Enrollment, Float RFQ’s to the manufacturer, suppliers, distributors, and brokers & validate the quotes from the suppliers based on MOQ, Lower MOQ support, Price, stockavailability.
