Molded by his small, polish hometown and all the opportunity that it offered — none — Tomek’s passion for writing spawned from a desire to entertain — himself, first and foremost...Tomek is a mix of two people. First, never completed his PhD in law at Warsaw University, second graduated directing at Academy of Film and TV in Warsaw and moved to New York City for study at New York Film Academy.After accumulating a diverse and extensive body of work and ability to create thought- provoking stories as a writer-director Tomek quickly caught the attention of industry professionals receiving HBO Best Development Award at 50th Krakow Film Festival.Since then, he have gone on to writing/directing a number of high-profile projects, including short film, tv series and commercials.Despite his young age, he have already earned critical acclaim for his work, receiving awards and nominations at festivals around the world including Young Directors Award and Cannes Lions, Clio, Sabre, Effie, Silver Stevie Award, KTR, Golden Arrow, NME, Director’s Notes, Viewfinder.His work has been praised for its emotional depth, visual flair, and powerful storytelling.He likes to tell stories that have a beginning, middle and end, but not necessarily in that order.
