About Max Feuerriegel

As the Environment Art Director at PahdoLabs, I lead the visual development and production of all the anime environments for our upcoming game that will feature user-generated content (UGC). I also plan and manage the workflows, budgets, and pipelines for the environment art team, and coordinate with other departments to ensure the quality and consistency of the game's art style. In addition, I am the founder of Golden Skull Art, a decade long running game art outsourcing studio that provides art direction, creative direction, visual development and game art services for various clients and platforms in both 2D and 3D. With over a decade in the game industry and a B.A. in Game Design I can count six published titles across different genres and platforms, my big carreer achievements include titles like DreamWorks Trolls Pop, Mu Legends, Pet Paradise and Hordes.io. My versatile production skillset ranges from concept art to 2D and 3D game asset production and implementation with a focus on cartoony and vivid hand-painted art. I help drive the visual development of brand new IPs and develop artistic directions including workflows, roadmaps, scoping and more.Using Engines such as Unity and Godot I put a strong focus on prototyping to emphasize on the player's point of view early on and at all times during pre-production and production. My familiarity with Scrum and Kanban, using tools like Trello, Jira or Linear help me plan productions and lead remote and on-site teams with diverse cultural backgrounds. With additional education in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy I try to understand myself and others to provide a healthy and sustainable work environment in a highly stressful and competitive industry. My mission is to create immersive and engaging game worlds that inspire and empower players.
