As a LNG Project Engineer I perform Capital Investment engineering assignments related to Eversource’s LNG Plants’ and capital projects. Provide engineering support of plant systems to ensure projects meet code and documentation compliance with applicable LNG codes such as NFPA 59A, CFR193, all applicable building and National Electric codes etc. Assist in the development of capital project budget plans, estimating project costs, performing equipment analysis and preparing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) changes as necessary.Lead Project Engineer on $13M replacement of natural gas Boil Off Compressors, ancillary equipment, piping and instrumentation at Eversource Acushnet MA LNG Facility. Antiquated compressor machines are to be replaced with three Oil Flooded rotary screw skid mounted compressor units. These compressor units will be VFD controlled and have off skid supporting equipment such as shell and tube pre heaters, fin fan cooler units, water glycol centrifugal pumps and an expansion tank. As lead project engineer I am responsible for managing our engineering consultants, budgets, scheduling, material procurement, vendor relationships, and ultimately construction and commissioning of the new system. My involvement in the project has been from the Front End Engineering of the system through the final commissioning and turnover to plant operations. Lead Project Engineer on $600k replacement of the Liquefier Pre Treatment gas analyzers. Unsupported analyzer units were replaced with six SpectraSenor laser analyzer units for gas quality verification on the pre treatment system for the liquefier. This project involved removal of the pre existing analyzers, purchase and install of new analyzers, instrumentation, a new analyzer shelter, installation of new analyzer units and supporting tubing and sampling equipment.Lead Project Engineer on multiple other Capital Investment Projects.
