As the founder of GetMotivated.ai, I have created a behavior change social platform that transforms goals into an engaging game, increasing adherence to health and wellbeing routines. Our test site, GetMotivatedBuddies, has helped thousands improve their mental and physical health through peer partnerships, group challenges, and our unique Accountability Score, a predictive measure of adherence.At GetMotivated.ai, we integrate AI ethically to facilitate human connection and achieve human goals, addressing the most important problem in health today: adherence. If you create the cure for cancer, but 50% don't take it, it's not very effective. With digital health, 96% of people drop out of apps within the first two weeks. This is the problem we are solving for, and the answer is: other people plus AI. Our platform addresses loneliness, promotes proactive health, and helps manage chronic health conditions by fostering a supportive community and personalized health plans.Diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, I leveraged my expertise in acting and behavior change to address my own challenges, leading to the founding of GetMotivated.ai. Acting is a process of discovering intrinsic motivations to do extrinsic behaviors and then internalizing those behaviors. This process can be applied to health and wellbeing. I hold a Diploma in Acting from the Juilliard School Drama Division and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and a B.A. in Art History and Psychology from Columbia University. My training in Tiny Habits further solidified my approach to creating sustainable behavior change.In addition to my work as an actor, writer, and teacher, I’m involved in health research and community development. I'm a member of the NCCIH External Working Group for Whole Person Health Research, part of the inaugural Columbia Venture Community Impact Program, and Chair of the Board of the Columbia Founders Community. I also grew the Get Motivated Buddies subreddit from 5k to 186K+ subscribers.Additionally, I assist companies in uniquely positioning and branding themselves for their target audience. My approach, developed at GetMotivated.ai, focuses on understanding and leveraging individual motivations to create effective, targeted solutions that resonate with those audiences.
