Presently employed as Chief Technology Officer with GPS Renewables. GPS Renewables is one of the premier TEPC (technology, engineering, procurement and construction) companies in the Integrated Waste Management (IWM) and Compressed Biogas (CBG) space in India. GPS has been providing sustainable designs for more than 9 years. The company has close to 100 biogas plants in the captive space. Additionally, the company is currently executing Asia’s largest Compressed Biogas (CBG) project in Indore, India. The project will process 500 tons per day (TPD) of Source Separated Organics (SSO) to produce 16 TPD of CBG. GPS is the TEPC partner for the project. GPS Renewables is evaluating additional plants in the SSO to Biogas space, and is also looking to set up Agricultural waste (Rice Straw) to Biogas plants in the near future. Prior to this, I was with Shell India Markets Pvt. Ltd. My last position was as Site Manager for Shell Projects &Technology (P&T) sites in Bangalore. Key responsibilities included managing operations and HSSE in all the P&T sites, design of Pilot Plants, and relocation of the experimental facilities presently in Shell Bangalore Laboratories, Bommasandra, to the New Technology Centre, Bangalore. Before that, I was the General Manager Asia Pacific, Gas Processing in Bangalore, and led a group of 25 engineers responsible for delivering Gas Treating and Gas Processing solutions for Shell, Shell Joint Venture and Third Party companies in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Shell, I had 25 years experience in design of Petroleum Refining, Onshore and Offshore Oil and Gas Processing facilities and Polymer Plants. My experience encompasses Process services marketing, Process evaluation and feasibility studies, Front End Engineering Design, Detailed Engineering, Plant Revamps, de-bottlenecking studies and Commissioning Support. I also have experience in leading Research Programs in the area of Engineering Thermoplastics
