About Gonçalo Cabrita

The first thing anyone should know about me is... Star Wars! Huge fan! I guess that is kind of the reason that I ended up doing research in the amazing world of robotics!I'm an Electrotechnical and Computer Science Engineer specialised in robotics. Lately I've been involved in the ROS community! My PhD research focuses on outdoor mobile robot odor source tracking and localisation.I recently began a new project called CoolFarm cool-farm.com, a startup that will change the way people grow their food!I also enjoy all kinds of mountain biking (actually give me anything with two wheels and a pair of pedals and I'll smile), cartoons and a little bit of cooking once in a while! Ho, and I'm a dog person!
