• As a Data Engineer at NOS, I oversee the operations of two vital data systems. One is hosted on cloud platforms, utilizing Google Cloud services, while the other operates on-premises, consisting of a Hive Data Lake and an Oracle Data Warehouse.• My focus lies on data transformation, quality assurance, and the creation of tailored tables using Python, PySpark and SQL. I also design and execute data pipelines using Airflow, ensuring seamless data management and ETL operations. These pipelines and tables are designed to fulfill the specific needs of data scientists.• As an AI Engineer at NOS, I developed a data pipeline to support a Large Language Model (LLM) that retrieves information from a vector database stored in MongoDB. This involved extracting data via an Elasticsearch API, transforming and embedding it with PySpark, and using Astronomer to orchestrate this workflow while managing the infrastructure with Terraform. The architecture enables efficient and scalable information retrieval, enhancing the LLM's ability to deliver accurate responses.• In addition, I develop and analyze Power BI reports which provide an in-depth analysis of B2C sales performance and customer behavior dynamics, enabling data-driven decision-making.

• In my previous role at Continental as a data engineer, I excelled at developing and maintaining robust ETL pipelines using Python and MS SQL to integrate complex production machine data with the company's data warehouse.• I built PowerBI reports that enabled real-time monitoring of critical KPIs, allowing the business intelligence team to make informed decisions.• Additionally, I developed alerts within the Grafana framework to alert the quality engineers in case of any potential anomalies, ensuring a proactive approach.

• Worked as the Data Analyst of two tech teams at adidas, during a summer internship. I built up analytical reports related to the teams' performance, with the main purpose of allowing them to identify their current problems, their root cause and drive improvements.• Analyzed the teams' KPIs present in the reports in order to find the main problems within the team, the KPI's being: Cycle Time; Throughput; Lead time; WIP; Aging; etc.• Developed an R script which uses a predictive model that allows the team to predict if a User Story will be closed within the Sprint with an accuracy of 72%. The model used complex Scrum variables such as: nº Acceptance Criterias; nº Story Points of the User Story (Complexity and Uncertainty); User Story's Priority.• Designed a Confluence space so all reports, team data, and the teams' guidelines could be stored in a single source of truth.

• Was part of the Logistics department, in the Special Projects team. • Worked on multiple projects in the glass industry with the main purpose of decreasing costs and extinguishing waste around the storage areas.• Developed several analyses on historical data (such as ABC Analysis, Regression Analysis and graphical analysis) in order to redo the warehouse layout to fulfill our demands more efficiently.• Developed an Excel app by using VBA that allows the company to track in real-time the flow of material within the company by scanning the QR code of the material labels. The company was able to save 3000€ because they no longer need to buy a Primavera add-on.• Modeled a mobile aluminum shelf using Inventor, with the purpose of storing 800 kg of glass profiles. Not only did it improve the putaway and the picking because of the mobile properties of the shelf but also saved 25 m2.• Designed and configured personalized labels, on Zebra Designer, which contain all information regarding either raw material or final products.

After my team, Leanovation, qualified in 1st place on the T.I.M.E.S. Local Qualification Minho, we were selected to represent Minho University in the final stage of the Tournament in Industrial and Management Engineering Skills in Lyon, France. Unfortunately, the finals took place online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We finished in 6th place in the group stage, competing against 34 teams from different countries.It was a surreal experience, which I couldn't be more proud of my team.
