Recruited as Controller, tasked to turn around a stagnating company losing $500m on $4.0mm in sales per year.Responsible for Operations and Finance functions, including Financial Analysis & Reporting, Product Costing and Pricing, Investor & Board Relations, Customer Service, Strategic Planning, M&A Analysis, IT, HR, Purchasing, and Regulatory Reporting for a $22mm, privately held, medical and specialty-use vehicle manufacturer.Specific Accomplishments: Led changes in finance, operations, purchasing, and sales which reversed the annual operating profit loss trend, resulting in 2002 profits of $1,185m on $15.8mm in sales, $1,776 on $22.1mm in sales in 2003, and projected $3,102 on $34.3mm in sales in 2004.Completed a "reverse IPO", taking the company private after a prior unsuccessful IPO. Negotiated final settlements on claims with the bankruptcy trustee for Dublin Securities and more than 3,000 small shareholders for less than 20% of amount sought. Act as primary interface between Investors, Board Members, and Management.Negotiated the first line of credit in the company's history in April 2000.Negotiated the purchase and financing of a $2.2mm, 100,000-sq. ft. manufacturing facility through an Industrial Development Revenue Bond issue, as well as a combined Line of Credit of $1.25mm with Bank One
