Promoted to the rank of Major (O-4) while in this role.• Collaborated with 2d Marine Division (2d MARDIV) G-4 Subject Matter Experts to contribute to 2d MARDIV G-3 Command and Control Training Continuum (C2TC) planning and exercises. This included refining the 2d MARDIV TACSOP, planning seven command post exercises, coordination with 2d MARDIV G-3 & HQBn key leaders to deliberately establish the Div Main COC layout along with level VI data and logistical support capabilities.• Designed a "Contested Logistics PME" for 2d MARDIV executive-level leaders, including the CG, A/CS heads/chiefs, MSE battalion command teams, and other 2d MARDIV key staff. Coordinated briefers from HQMC, 2d MLG, and a Command & Staff student to discuss HQMC Force Design 2030 refinements to the logistics community and future fight situation, 2d MLG post-FD 2030 concepts of employment, and supply chain considerations in a contested environment. Compiled 32 additional references to facilitate easy access to further education.• Created a comprehensive 2d MARDIV Logistical POA&M, streamlined the G-4 Operations Sync Meeting and Tracker, as well as integrating POA&M deadlines into the TEEP.

Led a team of 168 Marines, composed of a broad set of skills including combat engineers, surveyors, bulk fuel technicians, metal workers (welders and fabricators), heavy equipment operators and mechanics, electricians, generator mechanics, water purification mechanics and refrigeration technicians. Instituted coaching and mentorship programs to develop holistic performance of the team, winning 14 Marine/NCO of the Quarter boards and 10 meritorious promotion boards, and organizing 8 professional development events.• While stationed in North Carolina, oversaw the completion of 24 company/platoon-level field exercises and participation in 10 exercises of squadron-level or higher. Training included Forward Arming & Refueling Point (FARP) operations, live fire small arms & explosives ranges, Airfield Damage Repair (ADR) construction projects, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) ranges, and vehicle operator training. Staffed the revision or creation of 4 different Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to improve efficiency, capitalize upon lessons learned, and improve accountability within the team. Through engagement with talented team members, supervision, and adherence to maintenance management policies, improved the engineer equipment material readiness from 77% to 88.9%.• Completed rigorous WTI certification in Yuma, AZ and led engineer operations to grade 12 miles of dilapidated dirt road, extend a desert runway by 1,500 feet, stabilize 636,000 sqft of adjacent taxiway, demolish and construct 4 wood-frame structures, and clear 5 helicopter landing zones in the wilderness.

Led Engineer Maintenance Company, a team of 180 heavy equipment mechanics, welders, electricians, generator mechanics, water purification mechanics and refrigeration technicians responsible for complex, intermediate-level maintenance supporting all Active Duty Marine units on the West Coast.• Conducted long-term continuous process improvement efforts to install lean methodologies and conditions-based-maintenance reform to focus efforts on underperforming steps in the maintenance management cycle, improve operational efficiency and responsiveness, and ultimately achieve 98% overall readiness for engineer equipment within I Marine Expeditionary Force.• Rapidly deployed to support U.S. Border Patrol, establishing 21 (around-the-clock) observation posts, distributed along the entire California/Mexico border, contributing to U.S. Border Patrol’s apprehension of 5,276 migrants. Delivered deliberate & detailed lessons learned documents to the next Marine rotation force.• Deployed to the Middle East for an amphibious logistics mission, inspecting >700 pieces of equipment.

Assumed command of a mechanized minefield breaching platoon, consisting of 40 Marines and 17 mechanized breaching and bridging tanks valued at over $67.9 million.. By maximizing team talents, direct supervision, and adherence to policy, we rapidly improve the platoon's readiness by 37% over a period of 2 months. Subsequently employed Assault Breacher Vehicles (ABV), Armored Vehicle Launched Bridges (AVLB), M88 Tank Recovery Vehicles, other heavy equipment, and military explosives in 3 minefield breaching training events in the Southern California desert.

Monitored the Current Operations Watch Floor for 1st Marine Division (~22k Active Duty combat arms Marines located in California). Assessed feasibility of support, and tasked units for operations and global deployments.

Okinawa, Japan

Led 25 Marines during training exercises on the island of Okinawa, Japan; three month-long deployments to South Korea; and one month-long deployment to the Philippines. I developed an incremental training plan for my platoon which revolved around building the team’s confidence and proficiency in the following technical skills: military explosives handling, military floating bridging operations, construction, carpentry, surveying and CAD modeling, barbed wire fencing, and base camp construction. While at this unit, I maintained readiness and accountability 142 engineer tools and equipment valued at $4.95 million.• While stationed in Japan, conducted 24 wood-frame or masonry construction projects, 5 military explosives training ranges, 4 military bridging training exercises, and 4 strategic planning exercises. Led 5 destructive weather rehearsal drills, resulting in preparedness, no injuries and $0 in damages during (4) hurricanes. On my own initiative, leveraged networks to coordinate a morale-building event on the island of Iwo Jima.• Deployed for 3 exercises in South Korea to conduct 8 live fire ranges, 1 construction project, 289.6 hours of floating bridging operations resulting in 26 beach landings, mountain rappelling training at the Korean Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, & protocol supervision for 14 General Officer engagements.• Renovated an impoverished elementary school in the Philippines, completing 49 construction projects, negotiating with local vendors, and conducting key leader engagements with Filippino Marines & Seabees.
