I managed some project from the BPS innovation area/ department, working with new technologies in order to allow BPS to be at the forefront.Also, some of those projects are SOA based projects. BPS wanted to reduce total IT expenses over the long term compared to traditional development methods and the savings becomes exponential over time as library of business services expands and greater degree of reuse is achieved. Also, SOA can deliver business process improvements.

Bancolombia S.A.General Project Management with approximately 60 resources in charge, performing tasks in order to improve process and business health.With over 130 years of experience, Bancolombia is the largest bank in Colombia, offering a wide range of banking products and services to a diversified individual and corporate customer base of more than 6.9 million customers.The project started with a small amount of applications being transitioned to TCS, from other providers or the Bank. After the good performance showed by TCS in the first set of applications, more applications were added to the scope of TCS Software Factory.Then, Software Factory had more than 102 applications under its control. Within these applications the technologies were varied including AS400, Java/J2EE, Cobol, RPG, EAE, Power Builder, .NET, VB6, SQL Server and Oracle.

Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Bogotá (ETB)General Project Management with approximately 20 resources in charge.ETB (Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Bogotá), is one of the largest companies in the telecommunications sector in Colombia.The project was a development project for enhancement applications that integrates the management system of ETB. These applications were developed in Oracle Forms, Java, Visual Basic, and Sun One Integration Server among others.The Offshore team was recognized for being composed of a large number of junior members and obtained the “Start of the Center” mention.
