Manage the following programs for Aji Bio-Pharma: hazardous waste program, forklift safety program, monthly inspections of the various safety equipment, provide hazardous/biohazardous/pharmaceutical waste training. In addition, assist SHE team members w/ other tasks as needed.

Assist EHS Associate w/ the daily removal of laboratory solid and liquid hazardous waste, expired chemicals, training of personnel w/ appropriate laboratory hygiene and various types of safety training (Forklift Safety Training and Chemical Hygiene). Other duties include but not limited to: monthly inspection of all company safety showers and eyewashes, monthly first aid kits inspection, quarterly main gas line inspections, monthly inspection of all company fire extinguishers, weekly inspection of hazardous waste sheds and other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or director.

Maintain the continued operations of the company's various purified water systems. Duties include delegating or performing the following: Daily monitoring of TOC & Resistivity, record daily differential pressure readings, exchange of Carbon & Mixed Resin Tanks, periodic sanitization of all purified water systems, periodic exchange of various purified water systems filters, monthly integrity testing of Ultrapure Filters, use of various analytical equipment, creating spreadsheets to chart purified water systems data, and the scheduling of periodic preventive maintenance of the company's purified water systems while ensuring the continued manufacturing workflow/schedules. Addtional duties include working on updating departmental SOP's, training, assisting w/ CAPA's, and assisting departments and/or other engineers w/ matters pertaining to DI/Ultra Pure Water issues (i.e. local port sanitizations, investigating out of tolerance readings, obtaining correct size/type of tubing for water sampling, etc. etc.), and assist engineers w/ special projects for upscaling of product bulking equipment.

Assist engineers in troubleshooting various equipment malfunctions, run assays as requested by process engineers, assist engineers with the sanitization and daily maintaince of the company's DI and ultrapure water systems, write follow up reports on completed assays, chart data for engineers (Excel, PDQ, and Word).

Assisted with the formulation of various sized solutions/bulks in a cGMP clean laboratory. Other duties included but were not limited to the following: obtaining chemicals and lab ware for scheduled bulks, filling out labels, calibrating analytical balances, standardizing pH meters, clean dirty lab ware, deduct used material from inventory, perform monthly inventory cycle counts, maintain the manufacturing laboratories well stocked, clean and in order.

I was responsible for scheduling teams to fill various manufactured bulks on semi and fully automated machinery. Additional duties included coordinating schedules with the manufacturing chemist to optimize the filling team production, staging raw materials to be used in filling jobs, ensuring all components used and returned were entered and reflected correctly in inventory, and reviewing manufacturing documents prior to submittal for supervisor approval.
