As a Research & Product Development Intern for WinField United, my duties involved the application of chemical trials for product development, assessing and rating trials for quality control records, and maintaining other aspects of the research area and equipment. I was responsible for assisting in the application and rating of various chemical protocol trials testing experimental products, as well as current market-available products, throughout the internship for the data analysis to determine product efficacy. I was given the task of conducting a project for the summer that consisted of a factorial study that was on tested different chemistry plans involving four primary active chemicals. I also worked to update research equipment on hand for easier and more time-effective use, as well as helping set up new equipment acquired during my internship time period. Upon the conclusion of my internship, I gave a presentation before senior members of the company over my summer project.

While a Sales Intern under a Northern Indiana M.A.A., my duties included monitoring various field trials of chemicals for multiple growers across my region of operation to record product performance by means of photographic documentation for company record and demonstrative purposes. Additionally, I was responsible for collecting multi-zone tissue and soil sampling for a field scouting program for a grower using the WinField R7 Tool to provide the grower with all information they needed to have the most successful crop possible. I also shadowed my supervisor on numerous occasions assessing weed and disease pressure on fields for a multitude of growers throughout the duration of the internship. I also completed a presentation of my summer-long projects at the end of my internship to a corporate panel of senior employees.

While a Field Research Intern at FFR Cooperative, my duties included assisting with the planting, spraying, and data collection, including stand counts and weed and insect damages, on WinField United Answer Plots and other associated trials. I performed my duties at 12 locations across the state of Indiana, as well as one location each in Ohio and Kentucky, respectively. I performed assorted miscellaneous duties including vehicle and machinery maintenance as well as the harvests of select silage and grass trials, as well as assisting my supervisor in the conducting of various chemical trials, in-furrow planting trials, and planting excess acreage that was't being purposed for trials.

My responsibilities included filling customer orders, preparing orders for delivery, as well as assisting with deliveries on occasion, and maintenance in the warehouses.
