Managed VMware virtualization infrastructure, encompassing data centers on each coast, including 58 physical host systems and hundreds of virtual servers to deliver private cloud services to customers across the country. Utilized VMware’s software-defined data center stack, vSphere, NSX, vSAN, and vRealize to prove an always-on high-performance service. Communicated with hardware vendors on equipment break and fix incidents and data center engineers to meet technical requirements. Evaluated and updated all hosts and operations servers according to business needs. Key Achievements:* Installed and maintained all new host servers and networking equipment during a 25% expansion of hosts in 2018.* Built and enabled high performance back up and Disaster recovery (DR) by developing and promoting Veeam backup and replication environment within data centers.

Directed Acadia helpdesk team that maintained 70+ desktop systems at three separate locations. Managed technical aspects of the relocating the Headquarters and lab from one building to separate facilities, including data and voice cabling, analog phone lines, phone systems, networking, and desktop computer systems with minimum end-user downtime and disruption. Built and fostered long-term strategic relations with Acadia pharmaceuticals IT related technology vendors and partners.Key Achievement:* Implementation of a terminal server, application and SQL servers for Dynamics GP upgrade project.

Controlled 30 development, testing, and production servers between cloud service providers and internal locations using server vitalization, such as Microsoft Hyper-V. Planned and executed SQL SSRS deployment, which was utilized as the reporting instrument for FITBPO gym management software product, MASS-Member Access and Support. Generated and presented comprehensive SSRS reports updating senior management on production reporting deployment. Coordinated and headed internal Dynamics GP installation for internal and remote access external users. Supervised the process of formulating and employing standardized practices to support documentation for internal IT processes. Managed Sharepoint360 hosting division, specializing in hosting Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 & RDHS our customized version of WSS 3.0. Managed & supporting 60 servers in the hosting environment split roughly 50\50 between physical & virtual servers. Implemented VMware Infrastructure 3 utilizing ESX3.5, vCenter Server, VMotion, HA and ISCSI SAN to reduce costs & improve product deployment times. Managed internal IT team consisting of 2 helpdesk support engineers & one Sr. systems engineer, supporting 180 users working for both Sharepoint360 and Gafcon in 10 locations supporting 180 users working for both Sharepoint360 and Gafcon in 10 locations. (RBS) Administered a multi-server network running Windows 2003, Exchange 2003, SQL2000/SQL2005, CRM 3.0, Great Plains 9.0, Business Portal, Windows SharePoint Services and MOSS 2007. Supported 25 plus internal & external employees on mostly laptops running Windows XP Pro & Windows 2003 Server. Standardized and created supporting documentation for internal IT practices.
