Recent graduate of Medical Radiography from the University of Nigeria with a keen interest to pivot to the tech and corporate field. As a creative individual, I am interested in exploring the fields of Project Management, Branding and Strategic Communication to create an intersection between a seemingly unlikely combination. With my background in healthcare, I have developed essential soft skills required for this transition such as resilience, adaptability, attention to detail and most important, critical thinking. I also have the experience of working in a fast-paced organization, NIFES ,where I honed my leadership and people management skills.I was elected to two high-level offices and led two different teams in the space of two years. As part of my principal duties, I worked as a member of the national committee to implement a strategic plan for nationwide expansion and member growth. It also afforded me the privilege to work under a structured organizational framework with senior officials who were invested in my growth.Despite not having formal work experience in tech, I have actively participated in various tech communities and learning programs. These experience have provided me with a solid understanding of project management principles and effective branding and strategic communication techniques to create a stellar brand.Continuous learning is at the heart of my personal ethos. I am constantly looking to acquire knowledge, sharpen my skills, uncover innovative ideas and teach what I learn to others. This desire for knowledge drives me to constantly push myself to grow and evolve and approach problems with an informed perspective.I believe that the interdisciplinary skills gained from my background in healthcare combined with my growing expertise and continuous desire to learn, offer a fresh and unique perspective. My commitment to my professional growth and expansion has me excited to explore opportunities that blend my interests.Currently, I volunteer for an early stage NGO in Lagos, Nigeria focused on girl child education and empowerment. I also enjoy running a weekly publication on Substack, reading books and keeping up with the works of female thought leaders across Nigeria in my downtime.Join my network to stay updated on my journey of building and innovating. I am actively seeking opportunities that align with my interests, if you have any suitable projects or roles, let’s connect!
