Hello! My name is Nathan Goodrich. I currently work as an Analyst for Avanade after received my bachelor's degree in computer science in May 2022.One of my passions is software engineering, with an emphasis on front-end work. One of my favorite projects that I have got to work on with a team was a web service that implements a Spotify API to provide users with music suggestions and recommendations based off certain keywords. I primarily worked on the design aspect of the site, plus the incorporation of the API results onto the site.I also have taken part in several leadership positions. At Citrus College, I was a member of Alpha Gamma Sigma where I assisted in the planning of the annual Southern Californian Regional Conference. At Cal Poly Pomona, I was an eboard member of the Catholic Newman Club where I design and upload social media posts, and plan events. I was also part of a research team in partnership with Boeing to help develop an android application that use ultra wide band to track airplanes.I am passionate about learning and developing new skills. That is emphasized by my strong interest in data science in which I spend time using platforms like SQL and Excel to do statistical evaluation on certain players trends in baseball. I hope to pursue a career that challenges me to learn and apply new skills, and as someone who prides himself as a leader and a people person, I would love to have a long-term career in consulting.
