My work centered on product promotions for the quarterly release of new or re-framed menu items across 5000 stores in the West Division. Promotions included local store marketing efforts, special events, non-profit sponsorships, new store openings, employee recognition initiatives, and in-store social media programs. Tactics involved graphic design, corporate presentations, sourcing of promotional items, independent safety testing, compliance with brand trust requirements, and business development. Contracted by private investment company to assess and align human resource disciplines with the corporate growth strategy thereby providing stabilization, change management and compliance, policy review and revision, procedural realignment, sales force rejuvenation, recruiting, hiring and performance management for 225 employee organization. Supported three C-level Executives as well as five Managing Executives operating in Atlanta, Tampa, Charlotte, Chicago and Washington DC. Managed relationship with Professional Employer Organization (PEO) as well as implemented new HRMS company-wide. The organization was divested to new owners and my contract was completed.

Co-founded and cultivated a gourmet pastry café for over five years. Performed front of the house functions: Sales & Marketing, Retail Operations & Merchandising, Private Event Coordination, and Staff Management. Also, performed back of the house functions: Bookkeeping, Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Facilities Management. Chocolate Pink offered Atlanta’s largest menu of high-quality well-presented individual desserts, cakes, cupcakes, gourmet chocolates and custom designed celebration cakes. Starting as a wholesale business with only seven desserts targeted at restaurants, caterers, and food delivery services, the business grew to include a first of its kind pastry-only café then expanded with a private events facility and online store. Chocolate Pink garnered praise and acclaim from every media outlet including Television, Print, Radio and Online with recognition for premium quality and consistency delivered with stellar customer service. Business was closed due to poor economic conditions.
